As an interactive story teller I use puppets to bring stories to life. I am passionate about the use of puppets as they can make both teaching and learning in literacy engaging, fun and meaningful.

To compliment this, I have compiled a range of traditional and popular story sets which just require a little imagination to create an inspiring atmosphere where children become focused and happily engaged.

It is through the puppets that the characters come to life and the interaction between the child and the puppet encourages development of communication and listening skills.

Our Reviews

"We have worked with Carol for many years now to bring a story to life and enhance the children's learning. Carol is always willing to try new stories and listens to what the interests of the children have been during the initial story telling, making the story telling bespoke for a particular group of children. As the children are watching, you can see expressions of sheer delight on their faces and concentration waiting for their turn in the interactive parts of the story telling. Parents comment on the discussions the children have afterwards at home about these events. At the end of the year these stories are always remembered by the children as one of the highlights of the year!"

"Puppets engage young children in exciting and imaginative ways, drawing them into a world of creative possibilities in a very personal way. Carol is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about the use of and power of puppets as a teaching and learning resource, which she is able to share with schools and settings through her story based sessions and staff training."
